TIME WARP
Game Concept

My experiences in photography and level design are closely related. This photograph, taken during a Foreign Legion training session, inspires me in my work of Level Designer as a basis for my levels concepts.

MAIN SKILLS

LEVEL DESIGN

For me, level design is above all a relationship with the player.
There is nothing that gives me more satisfaction than managing to guide her/him fluidly from the beginning to the end of a game.

Setting the scene in order to explain to him what he has to do only by the environment, establishing an exciting rhythm that makes him want to continue, letting him express himself and finally, that he has the feeling of having progressed.

GAME DESIGN

In my student projects, game design always went hand in hand with level design.
Creating game concepts, Game Design Documents, 3C's or MDA 6-11 diagrams, but also creating new mechanics and prototyping are skills that help me in my projects.

PHOTOGRAPHY

Being able to convey emotions and informations to the viewer through photography has always been a passion that I also find in designing levels.

SOFT SKILLS

COMMUNICATION

Communication is the pillar of the projects I work on.

Being able to effectively communicate with team members is probably one of the most important skills I learned during my studies.

ORGANISATION

We use the agile method to iterate and adapt quickly.

The organisation of meetings, the usage of advanced planning tools are part of my daily work.

ABOUT ME

Photography offered me a first experience of what the profession of level designer allows me to fully develop and deepen, namely: how to provoke emotions to the player, create immersive spaces and imaginary worlds.
